GAGANYAN MISSION BY ISRO
Gaganyan mission Dream project of ISRO and Indian government.
The union cabinet chaired by prime minister Narendra Modi, on 28 December 2018, approved the 10,000 crore Gaganyan mission program, first Indian human spaceflight initiative of the Indian space research organization(ISRO).
The project will cost Rs 10,000 crore.
Gaganyan is a Sanskrit word which means sky-vehicle and space-vehicle.

is an 8,200-kilo spacecraft
The GSLV mk-3 rocket will be used to carry the orbital module which will have necessary provisions for sustaining a 3-member crew for the duration of the mission.

called astronauts just like in India says those people who explore space is
called Vyomanauts.
History of this plan
Till
date ISRO has spent Rs173 crore for developing critical technologies for human
space flight.
The
plan was first pitched in 2008, with name orbital vehicle, but was put on the
backburner as the economy and Indian rockets experienced setbacks.
This project start aging in 15, august 2018. India is planning to execute her first manned space mission by 2023.
At
time only three countries successful conduct human spaceflight of own citizens.
4 Indian air force officers complete 1 year training in Russia Gorodok city for Gaganyan mission.1 group captain and 3 group member. Training start February 10,2020, training has been completed in Russia. Training is going on by ISRO in the designed model in Bangalore. Operating and working in Gaganyan.
There
would be 3 flights in Gaganyan out of which 2 flight will be abort flights.
First 2 flights will be without crew for testing dimensions such as safety,
performance, trajectory etc in actual conditions.
Everything goes according to plan the Indian will do space tour in the 3rd flight which will be off 7 days.
To spend short period of time in low earth orbit, to create the
foundation of sustainable Indian human space exploration program.
